This course is designed to help students understand the concepts and principles of midwifery and obstetrical nursing.
It equips them with the knowledge and skills needed to provide effective nursing care to both normal and high-risk pregnant women during the antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal stages, in both hospital and community settings.
The course also trains students to care for normal and high-risk newborns and actively participate in family welfare programs.

A short-term vocational course designed to prepare students for immediate employment.
Upon completion, students can work as nursing assistants, maternity care providers, or primary health workers in both hospital and community settings..
Training includes participation in family planning, reproductive health, and maternal-child health (MCH) programs.
